“The location and beaches at Divi bay can't be beat. As a second time visit they have improved, as they seem to be getting busier. A couple things could be improved, the pool restaurants are opened and closed at random times, more consistency would be good for guests. The biggest improvement needs to be the road leading to the resort, you have to go down and make a U-turn to get in and out. I only knew because the car rental shuttle driver gave us a heads up, not the resort. But I do love this……

“With the assistance of desk staff , Tacoma, a personal property loss at the airport was resolved with his efficiency, knowledge, and kindness. kudos to him! Property appears to be in need of renovation and updated maintenance. Stairs difficult without a working elevator. No ability to lock the sliding doors to ground level balcony. AC less than adequate - never got room temperature below 80*”

“I had the best time during my stay here! By the end of the week I felt like family! The hosts are delightful, including the pups and turtles. Haha! The property is absolutely beautiful and safe. My room was clean, cozy and the AC worked well. The bed was comfortable too. The food options were amazing! Freshly made daily and so tasty! I enjoyed the company of everyone there as a solo traveler. We shared many laughs! I definitely recommend renting a car as taxis are pretty difficult to depend on.……

“This was our 3rd year at La Playa. Staff is awesome. Rooms are very nice. The beach & ocean are right on the property. Just my recommendation is change the breakfast up a little. Same stuff every day. 4.5 stars.”
