“Pls don’t pick this hotel if u expect u can have hotel normal service. They are digital hotel with no reception, no housekeeping from 1pm to other day morning. U they don’t expect u need a glass, or a fork and they won’t provide them in the room. To their suggestion, as a digital hotel, I think u should let your customer get those they need in a digital way, say self service counter for necessary. I didn’t get the digital key email before my check in. Lucky that I arrived a bit early before……

“Een mooie locatie, mooi pand. De kamer was wat donker en krapjes. Maar wel heel modern en schoon. Prima voor alleen het overnachten. Jammer dat er net opbrekingen waren aan het eind van de straat, het parkeren was daardoor ook wat lastiger. Maar goed, daar kan het hotel uiteraard niets aan doen. Ontbijt was prima, fijne ontbijtzaal. Incheck en uitcheck oké, niets meer of minder dan dat. Echte hartelijke verwelkoming, interesse etc heb ik wel gemist. Wat onpersoonlijk daardoor.”

“Für die Unterkunft spricht ganz klar die Lage. Auch an Freundlichkeit und Sauberkeit gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Die Parkplatzsituation ist fast immer mau in Egmond. Was uns nicht gefällt ist das Frühstück: Ja, es ist eigentlich alles da und auch frisch, aber die Auswahl ist gering und jeden Tag gleich. Auf Wünsche wie laktosefreien Joghurt wurde nicht mal reagiert. Schade.”

“Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen… etwa 2,5 km vom Strand in Egmond an Zee entfernt, aber den Weg konnte man gut mit einem Dünenspaziergang verbinden. Frühstück war für ein Hostel absolut ausreichend und abwechslungsreich. Selbst für Veganer gab es eine kleine Auswahl an Alternativen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt, draußen gab es einen Spielplatz und Sitzgelegenheiten. Parkplätze waren direkt vor der Tür ausreichend vorhanden. “Fijn hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Rustig gelegen, op loopafstand van de binnenstad. Prachtig hoe de oude elementen van het Huis van Bewaring bewaard zijn gebleven. 's Ochtends een zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Hoogtepunt was de rondleiding door de gevangenis door een oud-medewerkster. Tip: boek de rondleiding van tevoren, want het zit snel vol.”

“Great hostel in Alkmaar. I arrived by train and everywhere is walkable in town. Small room but you have everything needed. Small Kitchen to share on the floor. But no soundproof. Recommend to visit Kennemerpark!”
