“There was an odor of mildew throughout the house but especially in the lower level bedrooms. The stove didn’t work so we weren’t able to do any cooking- but the house is large enough for a family and was fine for us as we didn’t end up spending much time there. The kids liked seeing the goats and chickens,”

“Terrific location. Steps from the base of the hike to Pena Palace, a very short walk (2min) to the bustling shops and restaurants. Location was everything! Downsides, tiny bathroom, no hair dryer. All in all, we thought it was charming - good price point and couldn’t get a better location.”

“The location is wonderful, good restaurants around. Wonderful view. Very good beds But the house itself needs some Refurbishment. The price for almost €2000,- is quite high for this very basic house. ”

There are two bedrooms, but one is located outside the front door (ie, you need to exit the front door and open another one to get to the second bedroom - this would be a consideration for families with young children).
