“We had to stay one night in Ourzozate in our way to Marakech. Badr was the reception and he is nice and helpful in any ways. He did his best to make our stay great. The apartment is in great condition and a cafe next to it. We had dinner and breakfast over there. We enjoyed our meals. ”

“Bel emplacement pour un total dépaysement. La kasbah est située en hauteur et offre une très belle vue avec 2 toits terrasses surplombant la vallée de Ounila. A 10 minutes de Aït Benhaddou. Seul petit hic la distance de l’aéroport et des autres attractions touristiques de la région. L’hôte est très serviable, avenant et très disponible. ”

“We (a family of 3) had a fairly comfortable night here in early April. Very friendly owner and staff. The room is spacious, with a large bedroom and a separate sitting area. It was nicely decorated as well. We were especially pleasantly surprised to find out that the wash basin was made of the black marble with fossils unique to Morocco! “We had a lovely week at Bab El Janoub. Iatimad looked after us amazingly well and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment was well furnished, the kitchen well stocked with everything you'll need to cook a basic meal. The shops nearby had all the necessary items we needed from delicious fresh bread to fresh eggs. Would happily recommend bab el janoub to anyone looking for a budget friendly apartment while they explore ouarzazate. ”

“The rooms are good but their service is poor. Charging $700 per night, they don't even replenish the items in the room on daily basis - coffe pods, shampoo, other basic things. Reception staff does not speak or understand English which was very difficult to us to communicate ”

“Even better than expected. The staff were so friendly and helpful - great service. The ecolodge was so peaceful and beautiful. We stayed in the "tent" which was the cheapest option and I would even pay double the price to stay there. ”

“L’hôtel est propre et sympathique. Avec un magnifique roof top. Les chambres ont une belle superficie avec un équipement simple mais efficace. (Clim, eau chaude, bonne literie). L’accueil est par contre inhabituel pour le maroc, assez froid et rigide.”

“A good spot for a short stay. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the actual premises after check-in at the reception, but the porter assists with luggage, so it’s not a big deal. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even bringing Moroccan tea to our room after we got back from our dinner, which was a nice touch!”
