“I had one of my most awesome stays over two nights at this very peaceful cabin. It's a comfortable 2-hour drive away from Chicago and once you get there, it is peace and quite. The log cabin has a welcoming smell to it. It's very clean, maintained and stocked very well. The cabin has two bedrooms on the first floor, and a loft with two single beds and a double - perfect for a family of 4-6 people. It has the Fisk Lake behind that we walked to, but it wasn't yet boating time in early spring and……

“We loved our winter stay in this cute, cozy cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. There was ample room for our family of 4, were able to hike in Van Buren State Park and along Lake Michigan from the cabin and were still minutes from town to go in for dinner. “The house is beautiful, and we met the owner, who is great. We had two issues, though. First, the Master Bedroom is not available. The owner uses it, so it is locked. The other three bedrooms are small. The bunk beds are not in a bedroom; they are in a hallway. We had difficulty finding a place for everyone to sleep, even though the house is gigantic. Second, working with Vacasa, the management company, was very difficult. The check-in time was 3:00 p.m., but I had an important Zoom call……
