“We loved our winter stay in this cute, cozy cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. There was ample room for our family of 4, were able to hike in Van Buren State Park and along Lake Michigan from the cabin and were still minutes from town to go in for dinner. We were looking for a cabin in the woods with snow, and this delivered. We will be back to this cabin in the summer or fall to experience different……

“The cottage was in a great location for the wedding I was attending, and I appreciated the quiet, peaceful atmosphere. “Beautiful location, quiet, serene, peaceful. Very good walking area. Amazing views. Beautifully decorated but felt it was not well maintained. Most importantly, pocket door in Master suite off track so acted like a barrier to the bathroom vs entrance way. Had to walk all the way around the common areas and the stairs to use the Master bathroom in the dark. There was clutter in corners that wasn’t decorative. There were ants on the kitchen counter. “The house is beautiful, and we met the owner, who is great. We had two issues, though. First, the Master Bedroom is not available. The owner uses it, so it is locked. The other three bedrooms are small. The bunk beds are not in a bedroom; they are in a hallway. We had difficulty finding a place for everyone to sleep, even though the house is gigantic. Second, working with Vacasa, the management company, was very difficult. The check-in time was 3:00 p.m., but I had an important Zoom call……

“This place is a hidden gem. It has so many amenities. Communication with staff was awesome. The grounds are perfect. They upgraded our booking, and provided a TV at request. The pool was awesome. I told them that they need to update the site about the hot tub. It is only available with a certain cabin. The views of the lake were sublime. Also enjoyed the firepit. Overall loved it, and plan to return with family.”
