“I don’t usually leave bad reviews, and the host was very accommodating and responsive. But Not all houses are safe or clean enough to be used as a for profit guest house. I am sure this was someone’s childhood house. However, whoever owns it now has not kept it up. The cleaning crew needs to be fired, It had trash and filth under beds, in corners, all on the cabinets and stove top. One of the toilets had a crack in the bowl and a sink that the water had stained brown. The water is smelly like……

“Stayed overnight for work event and it was perfect. Very clean and had absolutely everything one would need. We spent some time outside just talking and taking in the South Coast air. I bet when the water is up it is a even better. Would recommend to anyone needing a quick stay.”

“The property had many accommodations and activities to do during the stay. From the living/sleeping spaces, the game room, and the outdoor spaces. There was plenty to do. The water was lower than shown in the photo (the water was not close to the dock like the photo, had to walk to get to the shore). Host had good communication and answered all questions. Highly recommend unless the water level is a deal breaker.”

“Good overall but with room for improvement. The location was convenient, though street noise was noticeable at times. The space felt like it had never really been lived in—there was clutter in the drawers and stickers still on the appliances. It would have been nice to have some basic toiletries provided. On the plus side, the secured, fenced-in yard was great for our dog, and the kitchen had the basics. A few small touches could make this place feel more welcoming and comfortable.”

“* Warning, long winded* We loved our stay. The cabin is cozy with plenty of comfortable sleeping space and temperature control. The host was easy to get ahold of when needed, responded quickly, was pleasant, and even let us know when we had animal visitors. Lots of deer in the area. The place was stocked with basically all the basics we needed. We fished a little. Right in front of the steps is a spot you need to watch your step, otherwise the way down to the river is good. The area on the bank……
