“This was a surprisingly quiet stay for a hotel! (Aside from nearby highway traffic) The room was great! Not sure if they ran out of other room types or they get a lot of contractors staying longer but they put me into a full suite. Never had a full size fridge and kitchen in a hotel room before. Even the view was very nice to see the golden hour sunset over the trees. Everything was quite nice about the stay... ..._except_ for the continental breakfast that was provided. I'm still trying……

“Stayed in the Miner’s Suite. Perfect for our family. Clean and comfortable. Our son lives in Pottsville and he was able to join us for breakfast. Excellent breakfast and the scones that were out when we arrived were the best. Highly recommend. ”

“We were just 'over-nighting' so this is not a detailed review. Room was clean and comfortable. This appears to be somewhat new management and they are doing a lot of work here. The only critique is this: They have breakfast available, but we discovered it only by accident in a separate room. The variety was ok for a 'free' breakfast, but it needed some more attention to restocking and keeping things hot. ”

“Overall house was average in good location. Few thing to consider for future guests - Parking can be tricky as it only offers 1 spot. -Also, thermostats can’t be controlled by renter. We had situation where 2 fl was cold and 3 rd floor was very hot.- very limited linen and pillow (2 per bed). ”

“We came to Pottsville for Yeungling and Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, and The Carol Century House couldn't have been more perfect. The house was charming, and that part of the street was pretty quiet. It was 12 blocks from Yeungling and a few more from a variety of restaurants. There were two streets parallel that had gorgeous houses. It was a perfect neighborhood for walking our dog. The house itself was adorable. Very clean and very nicely remodeled (in fact, I want that master bath in my house!).……
