“Brand new, exceptionally clean pod with amazing pull down bed. Well stocked with tea facilities and toilet rolls.We booked the pod for our Son as our local accommodation wasnt big enough. He loved the pod for 4 nights. My only comment is that a door blind may be helpful.Stunning views and the campsite was clean and quiet. It didnt take away the tranquility of the village.Great shop and pub next door.We cant wait to return next year when the site will be even more blended into the countryside.”

“Can highly recommend this characterful, very clean apartment for couples or groups/families up to four or five. The host presented the apartment beautifully, was very generous with courtesy items, and super responsive with any questions we had. It was a great location and had lovely views. ”

“Very comfortable apartment. High level of cleanliness and good furnishings. Bed super comfortable, useful dressing room. Large bathroom with shower; toiletries provided. Excellent location; 5 mins from railway station, buses and ferries. Very close to supermarket and food hall. Beautiful views from Pulpit Hill and McCaigs Tower. Some lovely restaurants and shops in Oban Would recommend this apartment and we will return. ”

“The Wee Bank House is perfect in every way. So much attention to detail with everything we needed for our short stay in Oban. Lots of extra little touches including a wee dram on arrival, coffee pods and lovely local toiletries. Exceptionally clean and a friendly host. Highly recommend. ”

“We had a nice time at the Garden Apartment. It is well situated with a short walk into town. The bed was large and comfortable. I wouldn’t say the kitchen was sparkling clean though. The oven could use a deep cleaning and I was unable to find hot pads for removing hot items. Some of the cookware needed a wash before using. The shower was also really tricky; it was either scalding or freezing. We had been using the instant hot water system at several other VRBOs by this time, so I don’t believe……

“Eveything you need unfortunatly despite being told, we forgot to bring sufficent towels and had to recycle the one we had. Watch you head in bathroom low ceilings.”

“We loved our stay at this beautiful apartment. With its breathtaking views and clean, comfortable accommodations. We had everything we needed here to feel right at home. I wish we could have stayed longer to explore Oban a little more, but we had a wonderful time here and you could not ask for better location.”

“Had a lovely stay at this apartment. Large rooms, lovely views, central location. There are about 64 steps to the apartment so keeps you fit but worth it for the view! Plenty to do on your doorstep, we didn't use the car and found a reasonable 24 hour car park close by for 7.50 and you can pay for days in advance! ”

“This is a perfect location in a Oban. A short walk will get you to the center of town. The apartment was well equipped and clean. We enjoyed our stay ver much. ”

“The accommodation was essentially a small double hotel room with a kitchen galley. The bathroom was less than 5x5 and parking was a major issue. The owner is asking about 25 to 30% too much for this rental based on similar offerings in the city. The effort was apparent but not enough to overcome the significant limitations cited. Sorry, not the best choice.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was a generous size for 5 people (2 couples, 1 single). It had a good dining area and a lounge with an epic view of the harbour and the nearer islands. It was a climb up from the town (Jacob's Ladder) but easy reach for local walks, ferry, the high street, restaurant and the Oban distillery. Having said all that - the property needs some TLC to be a luxury property. The decor in general was in need a refresh. The kitchen equipment needs some……

“Very well appointed terraced flat in excellent location looking on to the Crinan Canal. Beautiful walks all around, including along to Crinan by the side of the canal. Thoroughly recommended. ”
