“This was our 2nd stay at the Hickory St Lodge. We have a freshman at UNT and needed to come into town to help him move into his dorm and then again to search for his first apartment. This little apartment is perfectly situated maybe 1 block from main Denton square. You can walk to get breakfast in the morning. Very walkable to plenty of spots for shopping and dining.Inside the apartment you will find a few extras that other places usually don't include, which was really nice to have, like a make……

“This is a nice spot. This was my second time staying here which says a lot. Although it’s in a very quiet neighborhood, it is close to the train tracks and you do get your occasional train that goes by, but I believe it somehow adds to the ambience of the place. The only thing that was off a bit was the kitchen sink faucet was loose and it made it difficult to gauge the water temperature and my partner was scolded by the hot water on a couple of occasions.
