All outdoor areas were amazing, decorated impeccably with seating areas and absolutely breathtaking views. From the adorable surfboard seating area on the 1st floor, to the hammock swing i never wanted to leave on the 2nd, to the screened in porch and open air area on the third, to the amazing crows……

“We loved the cottage, so close to the beach and easy to make multiple trips. One day we went 3x, at sunrise, after lunch and at sunset. The sunrise walk was spectacular, mid day we put our beach chairs in the water and after the heat of the day the wild horses come out. Experiencing driving my truck on the 4x4 beach for this 70yr old woman is something I will always remember. Bring plenty of bottled water for drinking, as the sulfur odor/color is fine for bathing and cooking/making coffee, but I……

“We had an amazing stay at this OBX property! Our group of 10, ranging from kids to teens to adults, had more than enough space to relax and enjoy. The pool and tiki bar were absolute highlights—perfect for soaking up the sun and hanging out together. Amy was a fabulous host. “We stayed for two nights, and this was a perfect location! Very short walk to a non crowded beach with lifeguard nearby. Fully equipped kitchen (with a large toaster oven replacing a conventional oven, but bigenough to bake a large pizza). Big bathrooms and bedrooms with plenty of comfortable living room space and balcony space. Wish we could have stayed longer! ”

“This beach house is Stunning! Spacious and very clean with a super comfy large couch and beds. The views from this home are amazing and every evening, the wild horses came right up to the house. We loved that the house is on the 4x4 beach! We had a blast driving on the beach every day. We could walk right out the back door to the beach which was never crowded near this house. The heated pool was great with lounge chairs and a hot tub for the late nights. We loved that it had two out door……

“The place was as advertised. There was one lamp in the living room that's cord ran under a chair to a socket. The socket didn't work, so i rerouted to a hallway socket at night. Everything else worked perfectly fine. The beach was spacious and the house was nice. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is great. The horse beach is close. A nice little boardwalk and hiking trail nearby. We enjoyed using the pool and the nearby beach. We liked using the hot tub at the house and having plenty of bathrooms for our group. We loved the many decks. The sleeping arrangements were a little bit tight for the size of our group (13), but we made it work. We loved the house decor. Overall, it was a great, relaxing stay! ”
