“Our stay here was comfortable and relaxing, which is what we were looking for. We especially liked the large, very well equipped, kitchen and the comfortable outdoor seating area. I would give 4.9 stars if that was an option as the in-house air conditioner had been broken by a prior client and was not in service. “Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding. “It was quiet and peaceful - exactly what we needed. The kitchen was great for cooking breakfast. It was nice with full sized appliances. The apartment and bed were comfortable. The view was beautiful and the binoculars were a nice touch. We loved hanging out on the deck. The only negative was the short, deeply pot holed, dirt/gravel road that connected the paved road with the paved driveway. Nice place for a peaceful get away.”

“Perfect place to stay on our trip to Nevada City! The space is exactly as described. The birds outside were the cutest neighbors! There are apples and wild blackberries on the property, too. In the morning, you may hear people walking around upstairs. Something to consider if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in. It was a short walk to town. Be sure to check out the Saturday Farmer's Market if you can! Would definitely consider staying here again. ”
