“My sister and our spouses and children got away from DC for a long weekend. This place is a piece of paradise. We had six people in our group which is the right size for this house. We were outside almost the entire time, trying to fish/crab off the dock, sitting at the firepit, or going for a row in the numerous kayaks, canoe or paddle boat. Very peaceful neighborhood and we appreciated being able to bring our dog. Would highly recommended. Did not have any issues with the house and good……

“This house was just like the listing: clean, bright, and beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-appointed. Even though it rained and we couldn't use the fire pit, the bird-watching was excellent! ”

“Overall its a great place to stay. Just a few issues. The water pressure in both showers isnt very good (might just be the shower head as it has 100 holes) and the shower door in the main bathroom leaks at the bottom. We couldnt get the karoake machine to work, but the rest of the game room is awesome. The canoe and kayaking were awesome too and they have several life vests. Overall, we did enjoy our stay!”

“We had a milestone birthday to celebrate in our family and decided to really treat ourselves to renting this lovely home only 2 hours from DC. It was absolutely perfect in every way. Water views---spectacular!! Spent the entire weekend with family and a few friends in the pool, hot tub, playing outdoor chess by the pool, kayaking, biking, fishing....just sitting and watching to gorgeous wildlife (Eagles/Ospray/Blue Herons/Egrets....bluebirds/kingfishers/cardinals! Also the house itself so very……

“We knew that April would be an iffy monlh to rent, but the weather did cooperate. The water was too cold and it was extremely windy but we did get to sit on the beach one day, fly kites and play in the sand on other days. Beautiful view, beautiful home. Lots of toys/books for our 4 grandchildren to play with. The bedrooms were very spacious and the kitchen provided lots of room for all of us.”
