“We loved the backyard and lake! We saw a fox, rabbit, and lots of geese. It was peaceful and quiet there! The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and soap provided. Overall, a comfortable and nice place to stay very close to Raleigh activities!”

“Our stay in Tom's Place was exceptional. They had thought of every little thing a guest might need. We had the choice of a soft pillow or a firm one. Nespresso was a pleasant surprise. The bed and linens were comfortable as was the lounging area. My hubs especially enjoyed the well-appointed bathroom. The architecture of this space was well-thought out and obviously brought to life by skilled crafts people. Don't want to spoil all the surprises we found so you will be pleased and surprised……

Saw ducks flying low over the lake, saw fish jumping, lizards, dragonflies and even a solid black squirrel! Listened to the frogs in the evening and one night watch the lightening show. “We stayed here sadly for only one night while traveling on a food tour through the South. I wish we could have stayed here longer, the house is adorable, the beds were super comfy, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again! A meal at The Blind Pelican is a must! ”
