“This cute chalet was perfect for our early family christmas celebration and very close to both the Wild Animal Park and Callaway Garden's Festival in Lights. The property managers were so friendly and communicative and were sure we understood everything before our stay and when we arrived. Check-out was seamless. Thanks and we will be staying again!”

“Pine mountain chalets resort was a cute place to stay. HOWEVER this cabin was a dump. Needs a good thorough clean and revamp. Mattresses, appliances, blinds and bedding all need to be replaced. It needs some basic maintenance such as filling holes in walls and repainting. TVs were a joke. Couldn’t get dvd player to work. Couldn’t even give my grandkids a bath because there was no plug in bathtub! No hairdryer, shampoo or dish washing soap. Walkway to cabin is rotten in places. We left a……

“Everything was great. The only issue was cobwebs were visible on blinds, bed frames and corners in bathroom and bedrooms. Also had to deal with cockroaches. We are good sports and went with it didn’t let it take away from the experience. Which we love. Hopefully this will be resolved fir the next family. We love coming to the Chalets and hope to come back. Such a great family experience.”

“Beautiful view of lake, quiet and tranquil setting. Comfortable mattresses and furniture. Easy to work with management...very responsive. Only complaint -- the place could be cleaner. Not sure if spiders can be avoided at this time of year, but found a few in upstairs bedroom. ”

“My mother and kids stayed with me, plus my 2 dogs. We played games on the enclosed porch, which was my favorite place. The beds were comfortable. The Rec center, where we played pool and ping pong, is very close to the chalet, as is the playground. We enjoyed area attractions like Pumpkins at Callaway, Wild animal Safari, and horseback riding at FDR state park. The weather was perfect. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The towels are the sandpaper type that are super small, so bring your own……

“The cabin was perfect for our large family gathering. Plenty of room for everyone - we never felt overcrowded. The cabin itself is old but charming and was very clean. Location is just 5 minutes from Callaway Gardens and within walking distance to a restaurant. Also the resort area has loads of things to do - we especially enjoyed family tournaments at the pool table! ”

“This was suppose to be a relaxing getaway with our pets. Check-in process was great. Mickey did her job well! Once we walked in to the chalet we were shocked at the appearance. Very worn furniture, bottom of walls were dirty and all scratched up, dead bugs on floor upon arrival. We also were looking forward to the screened in back porch which was filthy and so were the cushions in the chairs. This place needs to be renovated, cleaned, painted and updated. We didn’t even feel comfortable to leave……

“The grounds were very beautiful the chalet was great. Could have been more clean. I walked in to check in and I was told I had won 6 tickets to callaway in a drawing. I was very pleased. We were going to go the next day and we got in for free. The trip was short but very sweet. I will absolutely love to come back and stay with them again. Thank you again for the wonderful salary and the tickets. Feeling very blessed.”

“This was a very nice surprise. Some of the reviews aren’t too kind but we gave it a chance and it was older, yes, but it couldn’t have been cleaner. Kitchen was stocked with enough items to cook several meals. Checkin was easy, staff was friendly. Checkout was easy. Perfect spot when visiting Callaway and the Safari. I’ll be returning. No complaints here.”

“We have stayed at this resort 3 different times, only because we haven't been able to find anything else. This unit was dusty-cobwebs on the blinds and shelves. The mattresses are worn out. There was no hair dryer and for some reason, they don't provide paper towels. The location is fine and the staff are efficient but every unit I've stayed in needs a good cleaning and update.”

“My only complaint would be the kitchen. I know we don't go on vacation to cook but this kitchen was woefully inadequate. If you rent this unit, be prepared the kitchen is not supplied enough for cooking even breakfast (i.e. one terrible frying pan). Overall the property is fine for a few nights. Very clean and exactly as described. ”

“Could have been cleaner. Top of refrigerator had a 1/2" of dust and empty soda bottles were found under both down stairs bedrooms. This leads one to wonder how thorough the property was cleaned prior to arrivalNice location”
