“Amazing - if you are interested in the last few hundred years of U.S. History, I'd put this one on your list of places to visit. Just a great experience. Out of the innumerable artifacts dating back to the end of the 18th century, I particularly was taken back by the original copy of a page from April 15th, 1865 - I didn't have time to see everything. The property's stewards will most likely offer a tour and they are really nice folks. I thought this location was aggressively under priced. ”

“The guy in the dining room was extremely nice -- seemingly trying to pick me up...I was not interested and just said I had a headache (I did. It was early in the morning... then the next morning he was weirdly angry and silently mouthed F*U to me on the second and third day. “The hotel was nice, clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. It was in a convenient location for our trip, with easy access to the highway. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was nice and had a good selection of both hot and cold foods. The beds were very comfortable. My only complaint is that the bed closest to the bathroom in our two queen bed room was a little too close to the wall, so I had to scoot in sideways to get in and out of bed.”
