“Highly recommended lodging. The host, Alex, is an excellent host who communicates very well and is very responsive. I had a very pleasurable stay in the Finnish cottage with 2 fishing buddies (too old for tents now) which we found to be very warm and energy efficient even in a couple of sizable May frosts. It’s very well equipped with lots of crockery, pots and pans and a Weber on the front veranda. It has a great layout with 2 separated bedrooms and bathrooms and a sizable lounge area, great……

“Tinkersfield is absolutley stunning. Despite the weather being torrential rain, it was magical sitting by the fire and enjoying the property as Kanagroos and Deer roamed the fields. We loved every minute and can't wait to book to come back. ”

“The property was exactly as advertised and contained everything we needed for our stay. The location was very convenient -only 15 mins out of Jindabyne and less than half an hour to Kosciuszko NP. The tiny house was surrounded by bushland and farmland, and there was plenty of wildlife spotting. Craig was welcoming and accommodating, and his thoughtfulness in establishing the accommodation is evident. I would definitely recommend Big Yard Escapes as a peaceful getaway from the city or the grind. ”
