“I come to Moorea 2-3 times per year and often stay with a friend. This time I needed a place and this was perfect. I was here 9 nights so definitely got the feel of the place and the area. The location is great (I rented an ebike to get around), and the place was larger, and with high ceilings felt larger, than I expected. While nothing fancy, everything worked, the bed was comfortable, and the excellent pizza place below and the market next door make getting food really easy. Across from the……

“I booked this place in early December for our January stay. I reached out in late December with some questions but never heard from the host. Then reached out again to the host once we had arrived in Tahiti after 1/20 just to see if I could get an answer to my original questions and a few new ones. No answer. I then reached out again the day before our stay as I never received check in instructions. No answer! I then tried the DAY OF our stay. No answer via the VRBO message system nor through……

“What a lovely spot to rest and complete my final bucket list goals while in Papeete! Directions to the location were specific and easy, I used Le Palais Patisserie for my taxi driver to find the building. Hosts Phillippe & Maheatea have an explicit manual in the apartment (multiple languages) and were quick to answer my specific inquiries, and they also have a rental car available during your stay if interested! Markets are close by, and main streets are two blocks away. The pool is refreshing……

Nous avons considéré d'autres endroits très près mais nous ne nous sentions pas en sécurité en raison des chiens et des petites rues en terre. C'est à moins de 10 minutes de marche d'une belle et grande épicerie, d'une boulangerie et des restos. A 5 minutes en taxi de la magnifique plage de Vaiava. “I did not receive timely information on checking in and could not check into the property. It is difficult to find and doesn’t show up on Google maps. The fact that they list the property next to it as a way to find it is a bad sign. It has an interest among a bunch of stores with street people hanging out. It is sketchy at best. We did not stay there since we did not get the code in time to check in on our first visit to the property.”
