The Grid was a fun place with good drinks and pub fare. Highly recommend Soule Domain for an indulgent dining experience- Besides the drives and stops around the lake, we enjoyed the miniature golf in Kings Beach! “Right across the street from the lake with gorgeous views from the kitchen table -- we fell in love with Donner Lake! The cabin was comfortable, but rustic as you'd expect for a mountain lake cabin (eg some damage to floors, janky interior doors, kitchen table wobbly). Dealing with Vacasa as a renter instead of an actual owner is always less personal and more commericalized ... eg they were happy to offer late check out, if we paid an additional fee$$ But overall we loved the location, there……
