“Our family stayed at JD's and Keith's place for 3 nights, and had a wonderful time! My daughter and I ran the Santa Barbara wine country half-marathon (our other adult kids were with us, too), and the home was close to the town of Solvang, as well as in an ideal location to explore other towns. The home's decor is fabulous! Also, JD was quick to respond when we had questions. We did not have time to go to any wineries (we had a 5yo and 1yo with us), but there are many in the area. Loved the……

“Great property, really beautiful and clean! We were 6 adults with our dogs for the half marathon . The location was perfect the marathon starts and ends in Solvang. We met the owners upon arrival who showed us around. Overall great experience !”

“We loved the original intent of the hosts to create a very unique and comfortable getaway. Unfortunately guests are not always thoughtful in caring for vacation rentals and The Coop has not been maintained in the manner it deserves. Even though the rates charged are premium, it felt like we were staying in a second tier property. I felt like we had a good connection with the manager and reported several of our concerns. The response was “well no one has ever complained about that”.”

“First time staying in the Solvang area versus SY or Los Olivos. The location was very convenient for wine tasting both up Foxen Canyon Road, downtown Los Olivos as well as west of the 101 on Santa Rosa Rd. Very centrally located. The loft was super clean, spacious, with a comfortable living room, table for eating, and kitchen for any cooking you may want to do. The host provided ground coffee, Nespresso pods, tea, half and half and even bottled water. I appreciate when extra effort is made……

“Nice Little Cottage”

“We were in town for a wedding and this place was perfect. The small space is very efficiently laid out and has everything you need for a weekend stay — even an iron and board if your clothes need a press. The location was idea. It’s on a quiet street but within a block or two of all of the Solvang shopping and restaurants. It was very clean and fresh inside. We had an issue with getting in the front gate, but we worked through that and it did not detract from our stay. A really good find……

“A lovely cottage that was very clean and offered plenty of space for me, my husband and daughter. We loved the hospitality of the hosts and the extras such as: coffee, tea, milk, bottles of water, fresh eggs, fresh fruit from their garden.The hosts greeted us with a nice massage posted on the fridge when we arrived. We enjoyed being away from the city. Very quiet, stunning views throughout the property. We honestly want to come back again.”
