“I loved staying in this serene sanctuary. Check in was a breeze. Lots of care and thoughtfulness including beverages and special chocolates waiting for me! Wonderful recommendations for coffee shops and restaurants the locals enjoy!The bed was heaven. Everything was super clean and brand new. Kitchen is not set up for cooking, no stove/oven but a microwave, toaster oven, and frig are provided. Perfect nest for visitors who are dining out and wine-tasting at the many stellar gems nearby.”

“We were in town for a wedding and this place was perfect. The small space is very efficiently laid out and has everything you need for a weekend stay — even an iron and board if your clothes need a press. The location was idea. It’s on a quiet street but within a block or two of all of the Solvang shopping and restaurants. It was very clean and fresh inside. We had an issue with getting in the front gate, but we worked through that and it did not detract from our stay. A really good find……

Clean, roomy for 4 and private.Nice kitchen (has pretty much everything you'd have at home) Shower pressure is a bit light and bathroom is tight, but well stocked with towels and toiletries.TV does not have normal cable programming (re aired and off brand news, sports and other programming. It has various apps (Netflix YouTube etc), but the sign is are too much work/dead end/pretty much impossible. That leaves you more or less stuck with less than ideal tv……

“We had such a lovely time and we absolutely adored the Magnolia Cottage! It was located perfectly in the midst of Solvang and we were able to walk to everything in the town. The house was clean and very well kept. My only critique is that there weren't many utensils or tools for cooking which made it difficult to make meals in the house. Other than that, we had such an awesome stay and would absolutely recommend staying here!!”

“How can I possibly thank Remo enough. What a perfect stay! I stayed with my fiance/now husband my father in law and our dogs. We stayed 3 nights and truly wish I could stay a whole week. So we will be back. Remo and Vikki are so friendly, responsive and just the best hosts! With their permission we hosted our rehearsal lunch at the house and it was a perfect party! House was perfect for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in for the wedding! ”

Michael, the owner, was very responsive, but we did need to reach out directly about all check-in/check out instructions. It was lovely to have access to a private pool on the property, but this did need some maintenence and cleaning. We would highly recommend staying here if in the area! “My wife and I celebrated our 40th year wedding anniversary weekend at The Corner Cottage. It was great and we really enjoyed our stay. The room is very comfortable and if you enjoy walking, the location is a 10/10 with proximity to downtown. The owners/hosts, Linda and Jeff are super friendly and very accommodating. We can recommend dinner at Leonardo’s Ristorante & Pizzeria in Solvang and Nella Kitchen and Bar in Los Olivos.”
