“Cottage on the Canal did not disappoint! Grant was very reachable and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was very clean. There were plenty of activities to do, but just relaxing outside on the deck was wonderful. Grant even left a bottle of wine to greet us when we walked in. Highly recommend staying here!”

“This home is as comfortable and well equipped as described, with a very "homey" feel that is easy to settle into. Given its location, and the surrounding area, you may be deceived to think that its in more of a neighborhood or busy more urban location. It's quite the contrary. Once you've entered the home, and are out on the beautiful property, you are in your own private oasis that could be located in any North woods location. “This home was perfectly suited for our naval graduation stay. I stayed for a total of four nights. It's located within 15min of the base. Everything was clean and tidy inside the home. Upstairs bedrooms are on the smaller side as well as the bathrooms. The master bedroom is large. Overall for my personal preferences it was accommodating. “Overall the house was great. One thing is that the lake isn’t great for swimming. The bottom is rocky and one person cut their foot pretty badly. Not the fault of the host, just something to be aware of. For the house I’d recommend more dish towels for the kitchen. There was only one towel for the kitchen. Some of the soap dispensers were filled with a gross smelling body wash, and one of the dispensers weren’t refilled before our stay. There was a swim diaper left in the fire pit. Again,……
