“While booking a place for a night close to the highway, I failed to notice there’s no reception. You’re supposed to send an ID copy in advance and get a key code. I noticed this only at the door and had to look for a number to call. The guy was helpful though and just recited the code on the phone. The pros of this place are low price (€55 for a single bed) and location at the gate of a quaint little castle town. While there’s no restaurant, there is a decent pizzeria on the shore less than 1km……

Das Mobiliar meines Zimmers war zwar nicht das modernste allerdings alles schön sauber und für Geschäftsreisende das wohl wichtigste: Ein sehr bequemes Bett. Sehr liebes und nettes Personal. Parken will hier gekonnt sein, da der innenhof nicht für fette SUVs ausgelegt ist. Sauberkeit Top. ”

“ A nice family run hotel in a charming quiet medevial Franconian village along the Main River with vinyards on the hills above. Seems to have been fairly recently renovated. Friendly English speaking staff. We were able to upgrade our room to a much larger room. The busy hotel restaurant is the big draw here and we ate breakfast (included buffet) and dinner there 3 times. Many good quality food choices. We spoke to a young professional couple at the table next to us and they come to this hotel……

“Excellent hotel in a great location, easy to access the tram or better to walk along the path by the river into town. We didn't breakfast at the hotel it was a bit busy. But very good little bakery just down the lane in front of the hotel. Just be aware that the booking and assess the your room number and pin code is only available via the web page and then wasn't obvious to find, connection on 3g was very slow. It would be better if this info was in the email. ”
