“If Mario is cooking then you know you’re in for a treat. Everyone was amazing to interact with and more than welcoming throughout the stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the pool was warm, the staff were amazing and the food was some of these we had on our trip. Mario made us a dinner from scratch and it was much more than expected. Very quiet and relaxing area that has beautiful scenery in every direction. Mario set the bar extremely high for what we expected in the rest of the trip. We……

“Beautiful grounds and environment, very idillic and scenic. We were able to catch a stunning sunset on the first night. However, the sunrise was blocked by a hill. The breakfast was decent with a good selection. The staff was friendly. We came in late March, so the grapevines were just stubs. Also, their Michelin restaurant was closed so we had to drive out to get dinner. Also none of the wine tours had started yet, and there were no free wine in the rooms (although you can purchase bottles)”

“Incredible place to stay for a few days. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings with tastefully furnished rooms/suites. Lovely staff. Delicious breakfast with everything you could possibly want! Beautiful pools and restaurant/bar area. Food in the restaurant was excellent, quite pricey but worth a splurge. Was my second time staying and it’s just as good as I remembered. Best bit: they grow cherry tomatoes all around the property and you are encouraged to help yourself- which we did! You can’t……

“Wonderful stay for our family of 4 at this delightful property at La Sovana, where the food is delicious, the staff and owners are welcoming, the views are breathtaking and the grounds are immaculate. We enjoyed playing tennis and walking around the grounds, the kids enjoyed the playground and of course the swimming pool was bliss for all. Truly one of our best holidays so far, we can't wait to be back”

“It was a lovely visit to Griffin's Resort on the Tenuta Ponziani estate. The entire area is lining with lavender and olive trees and smells amazing. If you want to disconnect and relax this is the place for you, your friends and your significant other. The spa experience is amazing, and you leave with relaxed muscles and glowing skin. “Wat een fantastische plek is Relais Val d’Orcia! Het huisje waarin we verbleven stond als enige op een heuvel, bereikbaar via een afgesloten hek. Dat gaf meteen een gevoel van rust en veiligheid, zonder dat het afgezonderd of afgesloten aanvoelde – je bent immers midden in het prachtige Val d’Orcia.
