“Even though we had booked two weeks at a beach resort in Giardini-Naxos we still opted to come here for an overnight stay to get more from our visit to Ortigia/Siracusa than you can from just a day trip. Perfectly situated, close to everything and still on a nice and calm enough street. Best breakfast that we had in our two weeks in Sicily. Everybodys' reviews speak of the jams but really, you NEED to try them! Great host with good English, but still enough patience to also let me practise my……

“This property is perfectly placed for sites and restaurants in Ortigia and close to the bridge to the main town of Syracuse. The manager is helpful and communicative. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. ”

“Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday.”

“die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist sehr abseits, dafür hat man aber seine Ruhe. Man ist auf ein Fahrzeug angewiesen. Ricardo als privater Vermieter war immer erreichbar, hilfreich und total zuverlässig. Die Wohnung war groß, sauber und hatte alles was man benötigte vor Ort. Wir haben 14 Tage dort verbracht und handn uns wohl gefühlt. Danke Ricardo für den tollen Urlaub.”

“Unser Aufenthalt in dem Haus war ein Traum. Ein verlängerter Sommer im Oktober. Man kommt aus dem SZ an den Pool mit Blick auf Ätna, das Meer und Sirakus. In dem Haus ist alles zur genüge vorhanden. Man kann toll auf der Veranda essen und am Pool die Zeit genießen. Die Bilder im Netz geben den richtigen Eindruck. Das Haus liegt ruhig und einsam auf mehr als 300 m Höhe. Man erreicht es in 10-15 min von der Autobahn. Für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ist es sehr gut geeignet. Wir waren am Ätna, in……

“Antica masseria in piena campagna vicino Modica, ristrutturata recentemente con gusto. Camere standard non molto grandi, con angolo cottura. Bella piscina ma un po’ bassa (quindi non molto adatta per nuotare) e fredda. Personale molto gentile. Sala ristorante e colazione con tavoli prevalentemente al chiuso. Colazione ottima con prodotti locali. Bell’ambiente, giudizio positivo.”

Nous avons pu profiter de l une des deux terrasses , vue mer exceptionnelle, avec du mobilier pour se reposer ou déjeuner ou prendre un apertif ou café. The location could not have been better unless you require a view but we were perfectly happy with “our little courtyard” and the proximity to everything. The only wrinkle was water pressure . It was a little weird but in now way diminished our enjoyment of our stay. We realized we were in a very old building in a very old town. It’s all part of the……
