“Beautiful hotel in a convenient but quiet area right behind the duomo! The staff was very helpful, especially when I had to ask for advice during a train strike. The room was a nice size and beautifully decorated. Even with a balcony that opened onto the palazzo, there was no noise at night. Would definitely return!”

“This was our second time staying at Locanda Gulfi and we enjoyed our visit thoroughly. We included a wine tasting and ate dinner at the hotel so it was almost 24 hours of relaxation and enjoyment where we did not leave the vineyard grounds at all. The pool is gorgeous and the staff are warm and courteous. Highly recommend during a month when you are able to enjoy the pool!”

“The breakfast was good though some fruit salad would have been nice. The other guests seemed baffled by the self service requirements. Maybe some greater guidance (rotation direction of guests) and induction to self service etiquette might have helped. The staff were helpful and kept their coolt despite the demanding guests at peak times. The front desk staff were exceptional. ”

“The beautifully decorated B &B felt curated. Decorated with love and care. Bravo. Our fourth floor room was wonderful- but a little too challenging for carrying bags up the stairs! Narrow and steep. There was lemonade to be made from lemons - there was a beautiful, large terrace exclusively for us. Manuela was exceptionally helpful. She sat down and mapped all the charms of Ortigia. Her weekend replacement was lovely. The B & B offers a wonderful breakfast for 10 euros. Enough for 2. ”
