“The Cardeal Suites & Apartments is a quiet oasis, located in an average Faro neighbourhood. It's conveniently located just 5 minutes away from the shopping/restaurant district and 10 minutes from the historic downtown. Claudia, the property manager is super helpful and informative. The cleaning staff are friendly and polite. ”

“We stayed near end of season, atmosphere in the resort was rather tranquil, which we liked. Apartments and public areas are a little worn, but spacey and well-equipped. We even got an upgrade to a suite with a third bedroom (which we did not need as a family of 3, but overall we enjoyed the extra space). For wifi in the room we needed to rent a router, but the price of 1 Euro per day is moderate and quality was perfect. Access to the (public) beach is by a 1500m walk, but there is a small train……

“Very clean, very friendly lots of good advice but quite basic - decor, facilities, overall appearance though paintwork and furniture was all in good repair. Extensive continental breakfast with good coffee. Pool looked inviting though we didn’t use it. ”

“Great place to stay, in a fantastic location. Rooms and communal areas were immaculately clean, and the inside/ outside pool worked really well (retractable roof remained closed during our stay). Breakfast nice too.”
