“We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and quaint. If you’re renting this property keep in mind there is no heat at all and no air conditioning in the main bedroom. We stayed during a chilly time so we were cold. Bring your own frying pan because the ones that are supplied are scratched up and pieces of the non-scratch material made its way into the food we cooked. Otherwise it was nice! The place is in need of a deep cleaning as well. ”

“Enjoyed coffee on the enclosed porch overlooking ocean. Great communication with owner. Bathroom nicely done. Very clean, cute, well setup for a cottage. ”

“We had a great time. It was very comfortable and quiet. On my first day there, I found myself lying out on the deck, talking to my grandson on a sunny morning. We also spent time on the beach, which is within a few hundred feet of the residence. Owner is positive and communicative. Great lead and follow up. A super choice and one we will exercise again. ”

“My friend and I stayed at this cute cottage for nearly a week. It was immaculately clean, cozy, well equipped, and convenient to everything! Town, restaurants, big box shopping, and a beautiful beach!The back yard is private with plenty of outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate while we were there so we couldn't take advantage of relaxing on the back patio...but it would be wonderful if the sun was out!If I have the opportunity to return to the Cape, I would stay here……

“The Mermaid Cottage has everything you’d want. It’s close to shopping and beach areas. The house is stocked with so many extras, like strollers, high chair, fire pit and outdoor patio. ”

“The cottage is truly adorable. Comfy, cozy and fully equipped for my stay which was over 30 days. The owners who is the property manager is attentive and wonderful to work with. Everything was first rate such flat screen TV, high speed WIFI, plush white bathroom towels, the spices, the furniture and the comfort of the bed. I love to walk. Easy to cross 6A and walk the Long Pasteur trails every day. Beach is 1 mile walk down Bone Hill Road. Cottage is in a perfect location; 2 miles to Barnstable……

“Great place for my solo trip to the Cape! The condo was cozy, had everything I needed, and clean. The little bunny living on property gave an extra star for sure. Host was very responsive to messages. Close enough to lots of major beaches and just a walk away from a really beautiful sunset ocean spot. I would absolutely stay here again!”
