“Great concept but I feel the resort needs a breath of life…new coat of paint and updated signage. Staff was exceptional from check in to restaurant, to housekeeping. Food was OK, drinks menu OK. The kids had a blast and that would probably the only reason I’d come back for another stay. ”

“Sehr schöner ruhiger Ort. Hotel im altenglischen Stiel. Bungalowzimmer sind ziemlich groß. Perfekt ist Selborne für Golfspieler. Hervorragender 18 Lochplatz mit Golfclub direkt am Hotel. Green Fee für Hotelgäste ca. 15€ pro Runde. Wenn man mal ein paar Löcher mehr spielt interessiert das niemand. Umdoni, ein weiterer toller 18 Lochplatz liegt in direkter Nachbarschaft und kann, wenn vorhanden, sogar mit dem Cart erreicht werden. ”

“Helpful friendly service, although this property is probably quite old maybe 20yrs old it has been maintained very well, linen of a high standard and comfortable tv dst channels work well and free wi-fi works well. Would recommend for a family holiday.”

“The property is a very luxurious and new building. The suites are well appointed and the bathroom is huge. The sea views are breathtaking and one can walk straight onto the secluded beach. We felt safe with the security and the area seems safe too. We have travelled the world and would rate this as one of the best luxury stays we have had. The host, Alida was so welcoming and ensured we had a great fresh baked breakfast.”

“Das Hotel liegt direkt hinter einer Düne und hat einen privaten Zugang zum Strand. Man wird sehr herzlich Empfangen und das Essen wird immer frisch zubereitet. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und freundlich. Man findet hier seine Ruhe und kann entspannen.”

“Man kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Das gesamte Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Appartement war gut ausgestattet und sauber. Dass das Geschirr abgespült und aufgeräumt wird, hätten wir nicht erwartet. Auch mit Load Shed hatten wir kein Problem.”

“It was a charming little room with a balcony. Private, quiet and sweet. We loved it! And we will be back. :) Security-wise it wasn't as good as it could have been. The property gate was always open and didn't respond to the clicker we received. The garage door didn't have a key so only locked from the inside. The suite itself did lock so I suppose not a huge deal, but still, an easy thing to fix to let us feel a little safer. The surrounding area is beautiful, lots of restaurants and……

“No elevator, no dining option other than room service with limited menu. Room was clean but dated. Only 5 channels on the tv and none of them any good. Some broken furniture in room. Breakfast buffet was good. People were nice.”
