“This old house was perfect for our family and friends gathering for our kid's graduation. It is an easy 15-minute walk to CMU and located in a pretty neighborhood with mixed with students and permanent residents. We wanted socializing space - a dining room, living room, and porch for hanging out - and this house provided all of that. The place is old and not recently renovated, so don't expect spic and span modern. But it did have heat, AC, Internet, parking, and clean and comfortable beds. We……

“Nicely appointed, very clean unit was perfect for my husband and me. We were able to walk for coffee, food, shopping, and the parking spot made it easy to come and go. While there is an air conditioner, it needed fan help to get the cool air into the bedroom. Temps were in the 80s and 90s outside, so it's probably a non-issue most of the year.”

“The apartment itself is clean, modern and spacious. The surrounding streets felt safe. We walked to Whole Foods and also explored a bit of the nicely maintained Friendship neighorhood. The owner was kind in allowing us an early check-in, once the cleaner was finished with the unit. We were surprised about the exterior of the building. “This was a lovely but very tiny house. Although the listing is very clear we underestimate the space we would need for two adults, an adult-sized teen, and a dog. Our fault we felt cramped! The location was perfect and we think it would be the perfect space for a couple and even a family with a smaller kiddo. It was cool and comfortable and met all our needs. ”

“Modern decor created a nice atmosphere and the place was spotless. Kitchen was stocked sufficiently. I did need to buy a pack of sponges for the sink. Aldis across the street was so convenient. Rod noise from Penn Avenue was noticeable at night but sound machines wee provided in every bedroom. Very thoughtful. Beds were very comfortable. The location was good for us as it was central to what we needed. Parking was no problem. The host was very responsive when needed. Go for it!”
