“Close to town yet quiet. Beds are incredibly comfortable. Great communication with host. All you may possibly need. Spacious and cozy. Nearby restaurants, hiking and things to do. ”

“We only stayed for a long weekend but the house was beautiful. We brought our dog with us who we did want to bring along to most things we were doing. The house was gorgeous and very clean especially for a pet friendly location. There are a couple locations across the street but we did mostly drive to the wineries we wanted to visit. Additionally keep in mind it is not a fenced in property, it wasn’t listed as being fenced in but it was something we forgot to consider as our dog did need to……

“It's obvious that these hosts used to work in hospitality. The house is so well designed and furnished, including the kitchen for those who actually want to cook, which I did. Luxury baths, incredible view, birds, waterfalls and walking paths, gas fireplace. Very close to Watkins Glen and Seneca wine trail. There is some noise from cars going by below, but I'm super sensitive to those things and will still be going back because everything else is so amazing! - including the hosts themselves……

“We were visiting family in Trumansburg for Thanksgiving and needed extra room for our large party. This cottage worked out perfectly - it was plenty warm, the backyard and patio are private and lovely, and the cottage is spacious with helpful features (great buffet shelving near large dining table). “My husband and I and my sister and brother-in-law stayed for three nights. The house was spacious enough for us to have our own separate spaces to sleep, plus each couple having our own bathrooms was nice. The location was great in terms of walking distance to Watkins Glen State Park and restaurants/shops. All spaces were clean and we had everything we needed for food prep and cooking. “We visited Watkins Glen as a party of 8. This home provided more than enough space for all of us and was a great location for walking into town and walking to Watkins Glen State Park. The stairs at the other end of the street made it easier to get up and down the hill, and we wish we had noticed them when we first arrived.The downstairs bedrooms were much cooler than the other rooms, but they did eventually warm up once the heaters were turned on.Communication was good and the property was……

“We stayed with extended family here and the house was perfect. It had everything you needed if you were to cook and eat at home, very well appointed kitchen. The linens and beds were very comfortable. it had so much space even with many people there it never felt cramped. Beautiful property”

“pros: Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cookware, everything you could possibly need. The rooms were comfortable and good sizes. Game room in basement was fun.Hosts very responsive.Cons: it could have been cleaner, but hosts will talk to supposedly new cleaners.The only bathroom on the main floor is in one of the bedrooms so you have to go upstairs unless the people in that bedroom don't care about everyone using their bathroom.
