“The property is a casita (mother-in-law apartment) within the gated property of the host. They have an additional rental. I liked that we were living like the locals do. The Casita is simple with a fantastic balcony. The hosts were wonderful although only the husband speaks English so communication once there was challenging. “Host was very responsive. Waze and Maps took us on a long rocky road to get there. Host provided Better directions after we arrived. Very plain Jane. Could have used instructions for shower hot water, propane stove, and washing machine. Also wished for a couple of comfortable patio chairs. Hammocks were nice.”

“We had a great stay at this magical location a short drive (20mins) from Pavones. My husband is a confident driver, so the drive was not bad for us. Clear details were given by Pascal, the host and the contacts he had given to us in his absence. We experienced power outages for 3 of the 5 days we were there. “We drove from Ojochal side and the Google map link took us through the right road side. We eventually did get there. We stayed in Toucan (3 bedroom). The communication was on point. The road is indeed unpaved and it takes us about 15 min. We did have a 4x4 but didn’t really need to use the function only when it rained. We did notice the adjoining bedrooms, we can hear each other’s conversation. We were 2 couples and had to decide which rooms would give us more privacy. The place was real nice……
