“We had a great stay at this well set up condo with outdoor patio. Comfortable bed and sitting area and basic kitchen supplies but adequate. The property manager was available when needed and gave us space when not which was nice! Short walk to the beach for a dip. The owner was lovely and communicative when needed. Would happily stay again!”

“Starting off from after I booked and paid. There was no communication from the owner about how to check in. I messaged them on WhatsApp multiple times on my way there and gave me no response. I called and he messaged me a vague response of how the unit is on the third floor. Asked if the place was unlocked and he said yes. But the unit was locked and there was lockbox had to call him back twice to finally get the lockbox code. There was blood on a towel in the bathroom and they wouldn’t replace……

“A nice house that has fallen into disrepair. No response to maintenance requests, couldn’t take a proper shower in the luxurious bathroom because the shower head blew apart from air & water pressure. Then had no water at all the following day due to a problem in a downstairs unit. This is hardly a resort as they call it. And access to the beach is incorrect and not honored by the management of that property.”

“The property is located in Uvita which is a small quite area. The beach is not that easily accessed. The actually property was less than advertised. There are centipedes galore... I would go on a centipede hunt every night to remove them from the condo... and there were two cockroaches in the condo. “Good location between Ojochal and Uvita. Driveway into property not well marked, especially at night. Some deep ruts at turn into driveway, so be careful if not in SUV. Mono is a big unit, with nice balcony. Unfortunately, lack of screens on windows keeps it from cooling in afternoons and during the night. Nice A/C for the bedroom. Pro tip: you can walk to Villa Leonor at Ballena Beach Club. For the price of lunch or dinner, you can access Playa Ballena, one of the nicer beaches in the area.”

“The condo we stayed in was very nice and well-equipped. Lu was great and responded to all our enquiries about places to eat, the closest grocery store, and the golf course. The pool is huge and clean, although it is almost too warm. The golf course is nice, but appears to still be recovering from the rainy season. Playing golf in the tropics means hot, humid conditions so bring plenty of water. Overall, it is a very comfortable, relaxing, quiet environment with all the essentials.”

“We stayed for 2 months, and could not have been happier. The view is beautiful, the pool is large and clean, the apartment was modern and spacious, and the management was great. “We drove from Ojochal side and the Google map link took us through the right road side. We eventually did get there. We stayed in Toucan (3 bedroom). The communication was on point. The road is indeed unpaved and it takes us about 15 min. We did have a 4x4 but didn’t really need to use the function only when it rained. We did notice the adjoining bedrooms, we can hear each other’s conversation. We were 2 couples and had to decide which rooms would give us more privacy. The place was real nice……
