“This home is close to the ferry and airport. The amenities are as advertised, with bathroom, laundry and kitchenette. Could hear gentle feet above, but nothing disruptive. Our communication with the host was good, they even let us check in early. ”

“This is a very sweet place with plenty of room. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Fireplace, heat pump and separate heater kept the place warm. The snow was beautiful! The hosts were friendly, helpful and super attentive to whatever we needed. Lovely place for a getaway. ”

The two room fireplace was a hit and the subtle Christmas decorations made for the perfect holiday celebration. ”

“Our favorite accommodation on our Vancouver Island tour. We liked the location, out of town and near our friends. My favorite things were the outdoor grill (try the local salmon if you can find it), the host's delicious homemade bread, and the roomba-like (Shark, actually) device that did a super job picking up crumbs and little bits of nature that blew in. It's the basement apartment of the owners. We barely knew they were there, it was so quiet and peaceful. Lots of light and air through the……
