“The property was undeniably beautiful and spacious, but the pre-arrival process was a disaster. I booked a Global Luxury Suites hotel via hotels.com, only to find it was actually the Skymark building, owned by Churchill. I opted to pay upon arrival, yet my card was charged in full 7-10 days before my stay without any explanation. Attempts to resolve this with hotels.com failed; they couldn't contact the company. “Check in was fine, though 'go in the front door' was inaccurate as the entry is around the back and up a rickety staircase. Access to the apartment was fine. Furnishings are of good quality, though spare. The mattress was fine. The kitchen has minimal equipment, but everything was clean. The window air conditioners were very loud, especially the one in the bedroom, but worked well. Didn't use the wi-fi. Now for the negatives: the kitchen and bathroom taps ran brown to yellow foul-smelling water……
