“We had the best stay! Clean and plenty of room for 2-4 people. The beds downstairs were so comfortable (we didn’t use the loft). It had everything we needed; towels, bedsheets, toilet paper, etc. which made our travels easy. It is conveniently located to Havelock, Morehead City, and Newport. ”

“We loved our stay at this cottage! The front porch with rockers was our favorite feature as was the charm of this historic place. It included everything we might need for the kitchen, and plenty of towels. The host was super responsive and helpful. It was a quick walk to the fun downtown/waterfront area. We highly recommend!”

“We loved the location and communication with the owner. An 8 minute walk to the waterfront and evwn closer (2 minutes) to the Farmer's Market. Note is that the driveway is pretty narrow so no room to turn around (so you need to either back into the drive or back into the road when leaving. Only other thing was we did feel the yard needed to be mowed/trimmed. Besides that minor observation, we loved staying here and would do so again.”

“We absolutely loved this cottage. It was immaculate and very cozy.The owner, Wendell,could have been any friendlier or hospitable.We walked to town to have lunch and shop. The kitchen was adequate for our needs and the bed was amazing. We in fact will return to this property for another weekend get away !”

“Beautiful historic 2 story house. We were 4 women on a girls' trip and the house was perfect! Huge kitchen and comfy living room. Master bedroom/bath on the first floor with 2 bedrooms upstairs (one of them had 2 queens). When we had a problem (our fault), the owner responded immediately.We were a few blocks from the waterfront so it was nice to be able to walk instead of having to get in the car every time we wanted to go somewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!”

The kichen was fully stocked which was my favorite part because we both love cooking. It was the most homey feeling away from home. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was perfect too. “A perfect space for me, my husband, and our chocolate lab. Love that we could walk to so many delicious restaurants and shops. The cottage was vlean and well stocked. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“The Broad Street Property was perfect for our trip. The home was clean and well organized. The bedrooms were spacious for two couples and a teen. The bathrooms and main living area were also comfortable and clean. The location was excellent - just a few blocks from Front Street, restaurants, shopping and the ferry. We went to Atlantic Beach everyday, just 15 minutes away. I would highly recommend this property and am already planning to return. ”

“GREAT beach house! Perfect for our 4-day stay in mid-September. I was thrilled to find this on VRBO because we could not stay for a whole week. When I go to the beach, I’m not interested in a pool. This duplex offers easy access to the sand. The location is terrific because the beach is not crowded (no big condos nearby) and you can walk to the restaurant on the pier. The Island Grille is also just yards away, but even post-season we could not get a table! We did walk to Amos Mosquitos……
