“Inside property was great - house was very fun and spacious and clean . HOWEVER..the driveway clearly hadn’t been plowed for a long time when we got there and so once we pulled in our cars were stuck. We were trapped at the house for 3 days. The plow driver came to plow the neighbor and told us he hadn’t been paid by the owners so hadn’t been plowing for some time The owners finally arranged for a different plow to come but not being able to leave for 3 days really affected our ability to……

“From the time we got there to the time we left, we very much enjoyed David’s home. He was a wonderful host! Although we didn’t get to enjoy a fire in the pit, my daughter figured out how to make the s’mores in the air fryer! The coffeemaker was a very welcome appliance! lol. “The 2 houses were able to accommodate 21 people and 2 dogs. There was plenty of room and the houses were clean. House included linens and a few towels in each bedroom. The grounds are beautiful and it was nice to walk around and take in the scenery. We came here to ski at mt snow and was about 13 minutes to the mountain. “Our group needed two things: lots of room for people to sleep and somewhere peaceful to relax and we got that all and more! The house is beautiful and the surrounding property is right out of a fairy tale. Nate is great to work with and the house was immaculate when we arrived. The house is wild and fun- some spot you gotta watch your head! It’s cozy though and great for inspiration and relaxing. If you don’t want to hear the rest of the group, this isn’t the house for you… sound carries! But……

“The Barn is one of the best STR we have ever stayed at. Perfect for a couple, room enough to spread out. Very tasteful decor and great amenities. Area activities to check out; So Vt Arts Center, Hildene, and a little more of a drive Robert Frost Stone House in Bennington and King Arthur Flour (flagship stire) in Norwich. Favorite restaurant Silver Fork (IMHO one of the best restaurants in New England and the Restaurant at Hill Farm has the best pizza.”
