“The owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. ”

“Wow.... we were blown away when we first arrived at the Villa even though we arrived during a big storm! We stayed over Christmas and New Year with my parents and my teenage boys and we all had a wonderful time. “Peaceful & relaxing with a beautiful beach & safe swimming. The Garden Villas were delightful & the staff genuinely friendly with good service standards. There is a lifeguard on duty who is both informative about sea conditions & the wildlife around. The birdlife is stunning. Only one small quibble in that the inner pool area could do with a bit of a clean.Other than that all good & would certainly recommend.”

“The property is situated in a peninsula in Kalutara on a road with almost no traffic, a pleasant surprise in such a busy (and wonderful) city. The beach is lovely, but not swimmable because of strong currents. The room was large and bright. The washroom was clean, and the shower was awesome. It was roomy and had a shower head on the ceiling from which a cascade of water came down. It was great! “The Hilltop Boosa is a wonderful find. The rooms are not just big they are huge. very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were both friendly & helpful. We ate here each night and the food was excellent. We borrowed bikes ans were able to explore the local area. Transport was available if we wanted to go further afield. We really could not fault anything about Hilltop and we hope to be able to return”
