“Spent a lovely few days at the Hobbit Cottage. It has a dog friendly garden and it is a short walk to Kames Bay. You can access the Cathedral of the Isles from the end of the cul-de-sac which takes less than 5 minutes. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. June, our host, was very attentive and you only had to ask if you needed anything.”

“This property is extremely spacious, it has 3 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and would easily accomodate a large family.Everything you could need was provided and to top it off there were gifts left for us of wine, chocolates, ice cream and a bottle of milk.Lovely touches and great communication with both the housekeeper and the owner when necessary.Just a short lochside walk into the small town where there are a few pubs and eating places.All in all we feel this property is very good value for……

We had a minor issue whilst staying but Patsy the owner was very friendly and communicated well and acted quickly to resolve, she was a pleasure to deal with. “Great stay for myself, daughter and partner and grandchildren. It couldn't have been a better location for all of us, things to do for all ages.The property is located across the Clyde from Grenock, check your options for the ferries, it pays to purchase tickets before you board.Also the property is now painted grey not white as in the photos, it threw us a little when looking for the property. Nothing though to stop us completely enjoying our stay at the property. ”
