“We really loved our stay in Mankato. The house is lovely and well appointed The bed was very comfortable and each bathroom was nice. The lock codes worked as described and the alleyway access was well explained.The only aspect of the kitchen that we used was a few dishes and the coffee maker -- but perfect for us on this trip. We walked to downtown Mankato from the house. It was a nice walk of 20 minutes to the restaurant we wanted to eat at. The only thing that confused us about the house was……

“Lovely historic hotel with modern amenities in the heart of a small town on the river front. Once checked in I could have all of my needs met by foot! A nice brewery, restaurants and the river front all within a mile. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever enjoyed in a hotel. Hours are spotty, but I did get to enjoy both the basement Speakeasy as well as the dining room for breakfast. Wonderful stay overall.”

“My mom and I stayed here while we were in town for a book signing. It's an old home that has been upgraded, but still feels unique (the floors are beautiful). It's the perfect size for 2-3 people. The heat lamp in the bathroom is great. Nice quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to downtown and the library! Fair warning that the washer and dryer are not free (coin-operated), so if you had a longer stay, be prepared for that! ”

“The location we had originally booked canceled our reservation due to selling property and issues with plumbing. Upon searching for something close we stumbled across this amazing property. Granted its not on the water like the place we originally had, but this location slept more people, was large, had 2 bathrooms, a cleaning room for fish, a huge kitchen, was decorated very nicely with outdoor theme, and the owners were very accommodating, easy to work with and fast to respond. “Very clean home in a quiet neighborhood. Owner was very responsive and polite.This is a shared home, not an "entire home" as advertised.Otherwise, everything was great!”
