“We had an extended, 3 week stay, at this VRBO and loved every minute of it. Our main reason for visiting was to photograph the scenery and wintering bird population in this general area of NM. The location was perfect for Bosque del Apache and other nearby birding locations. The home is adorable, had everything we needed - and the hosts were excellent. I give this a 5-star and a “highly recommend” VRBO - you will not be disappointed !!”

“One must realize they're staying in an historical site. The views are amazing, the staff always friendly. If I had any issues,staff was willing to address as needed. After one nights stay, decided another was needed. Asked about availability in person, and was accommodated, even matched the price shown on Expedia. This is the third time I've stayed in one of the casitas, and won't be the last. Other times camping at adjacent Winding Road tent sites, staff would say hello, wave and even went to……

“Amazing little cabin overlooking small horse ranch. Near Lake Roberts, Pinos Altos and Gila Cliff Dwellings. Loved our nice quiet stay and watching nature and hummingbirds. The host was awesome in her communications and offered help if needed. Directions to get us there were perfect. Everything was wonderful in cozy, modern and clean cabin. Will go back again.”

“Overall, our stay was ok. I organized a weekend getaway for myself, my mother (in her 80s), sisters, & nieces. 6 of us in total, for 3 and 1/2 days, and according to the listing, this was seemed like the right size. Thankfully, our mother ended up not coming, & we are very grateful. The listing is WAY too small for 6 people. It may sleep 6, but that's about it. If you are in town to go fishing & need a place to sleep, then this is the place. This was supposed to be a weekend getaway, & we were……

“We really enjoyed our stay. The property is clean and well taken care of and the outlaw cowboy theme was fun. It was great to have a fenced in space for our two dogs, and the fence was high enough that not even our jumper dog could escape. The tub fills very slowly so be sure to give it plenty of time! The tub is very enjoyable once filled.”

“I stayed 5 nights with my dog to complete online training (Zoom). The Starlink coverage was exceptional no problems. My dog and I enjoyed walks in the woods and pastures during breaks and before dark. The horses were our fast friends. The bed was comfortable. The cabin cozy with all you need.
