“We wanted a relaxing getaway for a long weekend and that's exactly what we got. The house is located right on the river and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the view. It is within an hour to New River Gorge National Park and several state parks. There is plenty of space to explore near the house with the Elk River Trail right across the road. The house is clean and well-equipped and the owners are very communicative. We would definitely stay here again if we are going to……

“This bed and breakfast is a hidden gem. It's quiet, cozy, and the ideal place to unplug-literally. We spent the evening enjoying outside in the fresh, crisp air listening to the soft clucking of the chickens and watching ducks waddle through the yard.The homemade breakfast was a highlight. Fresh eggs from their hens and sweet strawberries picked from their farm. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and clearly put heart and soul into everything they do. “Amenities were nice, great breakfast, nice staff, plenty of pillows always are appreciated. Wish there was more grass areas for dogs, our tv had to be unplugged to turn off and air kept shutting off. Minor issues though as this was a safe quiet stay for my family.”
