“Older hotel situated in carefully tended gardens with spectacular views of the sea. Bathrooms are small but clean.
The restaurant is open for breakfast buffet and dinner and the food and staff were great. Lots of local seafood. Excellent wine list with many Ischia wines.
Situated out of Ischia Porto town so a car is advisable if you want to explore the island. Front desk arranged a taxi tour of the island with Filippo who speaks some English and he showed us much of the beauty of this special……

“My daughter and I had a wonderful 6 days at Continental Mare. Our room was upgraded (thank you very, very much!) and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, with great gluten-free options. The shuttle to town was very helpful and the short-cut walking path to town gave us a bit of exercise, but was easier than I expected.
No negatives at all - our stay was excellent.”
“Trevligt hotel med bra frukost och fantastiskt utsikt från vår balkong. Fick bra tips om hur vi skulle ta oss till stan på bästa sätt, enkelt att gå om man får reda på ”smitvägen” till Ponte. Vi fick även lämna bagaget och ta duschen och nyttja poolen då vi reste sent på eftermiddagen ”
