“This is a charming and well-appointed cottage in a beautiful setting. It felt open and very spacious for the two of us (& it could easily host 2 more people). The kitchen was well-equipped, and the rest of the place was thoughtfully planned out. We especially loved the screened-in porch, from which you could observe the natural beauty surrounding us, including the rolling hills beyond. There’s a wood stove and a large in-ground swimming pool & picnic table, which we did not use, but we can……

The heated massage chair, cookies and wine on the table, were amazing and unexpected additions. The owner communicated well and clearly, even offering me an early check-in. “From beginning to end, could not have dreamed of a better island getaway, in the Berkshire’s none-the -less. Bill was a wonderful host. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Super welcoming. The home was simple, quaint, and super cozy. Perfect for a nice long relaxing weekend for both the dogs and people. The views from the sun room were lovely. The deck/patio area had a beautiful view of the water. The fire pit was a nice perk in the evening. Surrounded by water, the place felt so private.……

“This place is a unique stay, that's for sure! If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, you should come. If you love trains, you should come. However, if you are not that fond of tight spaces or old-fashioned style and your traveling companions are looking for luxury and privacy, you might want to look elsewhere. The bathroom is a big tight (it's a caboose bathroom). But the location is really fun. And the owners are very accommodating! ”
