“Great location- 2 clean cabins and great view of the pond! Off the beaten path. Busier road then expected so walking between the cabins with smaller children would have to be supervised - limited grocery storage for the five of us - later check in the most and earlier check - out! Fans kept us cool - beds comfortable ! Overall a few flaws but one of our favorite picks to date!”

“We really enjoyed staying here, would have never known about Vinalhaven otherwise! The cottage was close to the town, so it was easy to get to everything on the island for the few days we were there. “Unit 9 was perfect for the 3 of us. The kitchen had enough of everything we needed to make breakfast. The living room was spacious and relaxing. The bedrooms are tight; one bed was firmer than the other. It was too rainy to use the nice deck and picnic table. Despite being located on Route 1 we were not at all bothered by highway noise. We would choose to stay here again.”

“We stayed with our little family for a week and loved our time here. Our kids loved sleeping in the loft, and being able to go out to the dock each day and swim and canoe all around. It feels like an ideal summer spot, brings you back to the best(although cabin is way more "cushie") camp days as a kids. We loved exploring the local spots, reading on the dock, checking out the frogs and snapping turtles, and just slow down and really dive into the natural world around you. We can't wait to go……

“The cabin was nestled far enough back from the road with great surrounding trees that it felt very private and quiet. We loved the cabin, it was clean and cute and had everything we needed! Perfect town for a quiet getaway, beach, history, dining, it was perfect!”
