The cafe next door has excellent sandwiches and coffee (but it’s closed on Sundays). Don’t expect much from the “river walk”. It’s really just a sidewalk not more than a block and a half long. “loved the quaint and charming vibe of the place. The owners provide ear plugs to block out the sound of the trains which adds to the charm of the area. Highly recommend using them. Slept like a baby afterwards.:) Very close to Hermann and recommend going to Redbud as well. A number of unique boutiques/shops to explore there as well. Be sure to stop at Clancys bakery. You wont be disappointed. ”

The area was quiet and peaceful, but still very convenient—Walmart and other stores were just a short drive away.We stayed in the lower level of the house, which had a cozy, rustic feel and plenty of space for everyone. “I took my son on a trip to 6 flags and some other STL fun, we stayed here for the night. The place was very clean and well stocked. The owner was very responsive, she provided several good options for dining in the area. It was just overall very friendly and hospitable.”
