“We had a great stay at this nice inn. It is exactly what we are looking for: a quiet place on the eastern shore surrounded by nature. The cottage (one of seven) is spacious and well appointed. The bed is very comfortable. The tranquility of sitting on the back porch looking at the golden sunset beyond the vast field and tree line!! We took many walks across the 70 plus acre property to the shore and just absorbed the peace and sound of the wind blowing over the water. It’s amazing. The living……

However, even though I knew there would be no breakfast, I thought that like most B&B’s there would be the possibility of coffee or tea in the morning. There was no one home to welcome us or give information about nearby restaurants, etc. Why take the reservation if you can’t provide the amenities most B&B’s feature?”

“We were NOT able to stay at the Phillips Inn because Travelocity screwed up the reservation. Travelocity said the res was confirmed, no need to call the property. I called day before arrival and was told they could not honor the res due to the death of the owner May 22. I made the res May 25. On June 22 Travelocity still had no idea the owner was deceased or what the property was doing. Call Travelocity Customer Service, 2 hour wait to talk to CSR. Used callback option, got call about 3 1/2……
