“We stayed in the early summer. Even though the house appears to cater to skiers, it was great for the off season visit. Well stocked kitchen and linens. Very clean and well maintained. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great and better than I had hoped. Cabin was clean and has plenty of space with all amenities needed for stay. Close to the river and has a great view. Hosts were responsive on communication but we had zero issues during our stay. Highly recommend if you are looking to get away and still be close to town if needed. Will be staying again.”

“This property is exquisite! The construction, furnishing and décor are masterfully done! Attention to every detail inside and out. The owners should be proud of this gem on the river!!! Mother Nature assisted with beautiful fall colors. Absolute Heaven!!! The kitchen area, although beautiful, is lacking in plates, utensils and accessories. The dishwasher and microwave don’t work. We had to purchase a pitcher from the Dollar Store to make OJ. Melissa was a very responsive host and replied……

“First, the negatives: * No air conditioner. The listing was accurate, but I didn't notice the missing A/C until a couple weeks before the trip. Wouldn't have been a problem except we stayed in the 105 degree heat wave of 2024. * There is not a bridge near the house: Its a 35 minutes to Plains, and an hour to Thompson Falls. * Kitchen is small and has no dishwasher. The positives: * No internet. Like other reviews, I see this as a positive. We could get limited cell (AT&T) from the porch and……

“The lil' blue bike and ski shack is a quaint little 1 bedroom home with a cove with a bunkbed. It has very cute bicycle and ski art and decorations scattered around the house. It was perfect fit for 2 adults and 2 kids, but you can certainly fit a few more if you needed too. Its located up on the hill in Wallace, so getting to town takes a few minutes walking, especially if the stairs down are covered in snow. “Five of us came ride the Hiawatha Trail. This was a great place to stay. This is an upstairs townhome in a quiet neighborhood. We spent a day exploring Wallace and this was a great place to make our base. The Hiawatha Trail is only 10 minutes away. Almost everything Everything in Wallace is in walking distance. A grocery store is just a block away. The two bedrooms are nice. Our 16 year old son loved playing on the shuffleboard table. The place was clean and quiet. The host was very responsive.……
