“This property is amazing. If you are looking to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet this is the place. My daughter graduated from Radford University and I was trying to find a place for my entire family to be under one roof and this was it. The open space throughout the house was more than enough. It allowed 9 adults and 3 kids to move around and not feel like we were on top of each other. Between the upstairs and then the downstairs was on point. Highly recommend this to you and your……

“We were in VA to celebrate our daughter's white coat ceremony at VMCVM. Most of our time was spent in Blacksburg, but we did explore Craytor Lake State Park and had dinner in Radford.This house was perfect for us. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was provided. The area is beautiful and quiet. The property is very pet-friendly (we were traveling with our dog). She enjoyed walking along the road and got to see cows up close and personal for the first time. The listing is accurate……

“We enjoyed the house and really appreciated the responsiveness of the host. While the location is between a small road and train tracks, it wasn’t overly distracting or loud. The access to the water was unobstructed and relaxing. The master bed was probably the most comfortable that I’ve ever slept in away from home, with quality bedding and mattress. The property was also great for our dog, with a contained back yard and front porch. Definitely recommend! ”

“This was my second stay at Red Bird Cottage. It is clean, comfortable, and nestled in a quiet neighborhood. We cooked several meals here, and washed a load of laundry. We enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table, playing games, and watching our little visitors, beautiful birds and a fat little squirrel. There is plenty of birdseed stored on the back porch if you need to refill the feeders.”

“This was such a welcoming booking from day one. I cannot praise our stay enough. If you want a camping trip, this is your spot. You need not bring anything but what you're planning to eat. Your hosts really have thought of everything. All you have to bring is your food and drinks. Coffee, filters, and water is already there. If your backs aren't compatible with Adirondack chairs, definitely bring your own.I don't know how I got so lucky. Someone is always on hand to help. And the sparkly……
