“While they have no control over the major lightning storm that took place while we were there, they did provide a safe and cozy environment for us to watch the light storm as it boomed and lite up the sky overhead. We were able to open the hidden bookshelves and watch the light show from the store front window. The only advice I would give is come with an umbrella or rain coat for unexpected weather and a portable fan as it is humid and hot outside and in the loft in the summer.”

“House is better than the photos.Old house, but everything modern you'd want (outlets/appliances/AC) and everything old you'd want (trim, decor).great location near Washington and Peoria. Lots of relaxing seating inside and outside.I'm hoping to stay here again soon!”

“This was the perfect spot for my family! We loved the backyard and the 3 seasons room! We wish we could’ve stayed for longer was the overall consensus. The check in process was incredibly easy and we were able to locate everything we needed. The host was very kind as well! ”

“The property was beautiful and exactly what we needed for our event. The most used space was the big dining room table where all the girls got hair and makeup done before the wedding. The game room downstairs was a fun place to gather after the rehearsal dinner. There was plenty of room for all the guests to feel like they had their own private space. ”

“Our stay in Bloomington was for a family reunion. The host was super responsive and the pictures are 100% accurate. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets and all was well thought out. ”

The house was adorable and impeccably clean. It was a great location for a quick jaunt to downtown for lunch. Sara, our host, was responsive and accommodating. We are already giving great consideration to staying here again for our weekend next year!”
