“We loved everything about Cascade Falls! The location has the most incredible views of the mountains. The house was clean and very well stocked! It was probably the most accommodating house we have ever experienced. It has all the essentials and more! The basement was the best for the kids - double bunks, couches with a tv, ping pong, and foosball. They loved it! Beds were comfortable too. “I had another wonderful stay at the Basswood. The spacious suite is my home when I’m visiting my family in West Virginia. Comfy bed, lots of light, great bathroom, easy parking. And I saw the lunar eclipse! Plus, you can’t ask for a better host. ”

Owner was very communicative and available to answer questions. This is the perfect VA getaway. 1.5 hours to Dulles, 30 mins to Middleburg, surrounded by farms and country roads. Highly recommend.”

“We needed a place close to the hiking trail we were going to do that could sleep our whole group, and this was close. Unfortunately the trails were closed due to wild fires a couple nights before our stay. Because of the late notice, we couldn't cancel our stay. We had to drive an hour and a half the next morning to get to another trail where we camped, but this cabin was large enough to accommodate our church group, we just couldn't enjoy our stay as long as we had hoped.
