The only issue was that we booked for Beach Bay but didn’t get to stay at the hotel we originally booked. We showed up and they had already closed for the season, but we never received any message from Hotels.com about it. There was definite confusion at the beginning, but they got us in at their sister hotel which was beautiful. ”

“Positives and negatives. The room was great, plenty of room and amenities for our family of 4. Great outdoor space. Friendly and accommodating staff. Things I wish I knew: no restaurant onsite, only lobby area breakfast. No ‘deli’ or other food options available onsite, although indicated on the property details. Cooking meals is easy to do in the room. Hotel is noted as ‘12 minute walk’ from the port. It is almost a mile (1.6km) and uphill. Located in a residential area, little to do around the……

“Ivanka was such a great host, answered all my questions and gave me some advice of local transport and trip ideas before I arrived. Lovely welcome, including a map of suggestions for Hvar town. The room was great, a little kitchenette to make food but I opted to just use the fridge. Air conditioning was welcome, as was the balcony with the beautiful views, including of the sunset. Hvar is very hilly, so yes the property is up a hill, but you can just take it steady. It’s worth it!”
